Scentsy for a Cause

A good friend of mine has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroendocrine Cervical Cancer. She has already had to undergo emergency surgery and has had er port placed. She will be starting Chemotherapy as well as Radition to fight this cancer. Tanya like all my friend was there for me when Konner was diagnosed and I want to help raise money for her even if it is just a little.

I have decided to hold a Scentsy fundraiser for her. Everything I make from this will go directly to Tanya to help with medical expenses.

Updates

Here is a preview of what we have been up to lately. I tell myself I will do better at updating yet I find myself behind again. The dowdy have not been up to much. We have been to Arizona to attend a dear friends wedding. And we have been playing outside alot lately. It has been beautiful out and we just cant resist. Soon we will be heading back to AZ because Kyle and I are taking our 10th Anniversary trip a little early!! Can you believe it.... 10 WHOLE YEARS! yikes we are getting old :(

Weather

we are LOVING the weather lately. So nice and warm and perfect for playing outside. We have been going on lots of walks and playing outside alot!!! Ya For summer!

Konner the day of his birthday!

Konner turned 2 on Feb. 13!! Konner is still a little one. But he is growing more and more. He talks so much and learns so many words. His brothers are his best friends. I dont know what he is going to do without Kayben once he starts school. He is so attached to Kayben. He is Kaybens shadow, I say this because he goes where Kayben goes, He does what Kayben does and he says what Kayben says! When Kayben started Primary in church Konner has had the hardest time not being in nursery with Kayben. He cries in nursery (cough) he screams in nursery! And will not play at all. Konner loves Kayben.

On the medical side Konner is doing great! He is still currently NED and gets check ups every 3 months for blood and urine and then has scans every 6 months. We travel to AZ every time.Konner has been such a blessing to our family. And I cant believe all he has gone through. You would never guess that he is a cancer warrior. Konner is a bright spirited little boy with a huge smile on his face most of the time.

On January 8th my little Kayben turned 4!!!! I cant even believe how big he is getting. Kayben has always been bigger than your average 3-4 year old. When he was 2 we took Kyesun to his first day of school. at the time Kyesun was starting 2nd grade. We were waiting for Kyesun to find his teacher and another teacher approached Kayben and asked him if he was lost and needed help finding his teacher. Kayben kinda looked at her with an odd look and didnt really know what this lady was talking about lol. Till this day I crack up about it.

This year school is all Kayben has been able to talk about. He cant wait to start school and make lots of friends. So TODAY is the day I will be registering Kayben for pre-school. He got so excited and asked if he can have his own pencils lol. really? lol

Kayben is growing up everyday he seems a year older. Happy Birthday kayben! You will always be our little smoochy boy!

Can you believe Kyesun turned 9 years old last October!  He is seriously getting so big. He had a sleepover for his birthday and boys was that interesting.  He is almost a pre teen so he says! lol Oh to be a pre teen again! haha... Kyesun just got done with basketball where is team Coached by Coach Dowdy (his Dad) won the championship!!! Kyesun is enjoying all sports and will be playing baseball this year! We live in a HUGE baseball town so if you don't play baseball you are looked at funny lol. But Kyesun loves basketball and football the most! He is doing good in school and has made some good friends! He does not have a girlfriend and does not like to bring up the word girlfriend. Although I heard that he has been kissed by a girl in his school. His cousin told me..... so I guess he doesn't like to kiss and tell. lol

There have been a total of 5 birthdays in our family that I have not blogged about. Amazing news, and so much more. I need to catch you all up on everything. I think I get on blogger to actually update everyone and then I get so overwhelmed with it all. Im sorry for that. I need to get better right! Updates to follow
