Finally.........

We are finally home! Konner was able to come home yesterday. He has been so good and really loves being home with his brothers. How do I know....... Because he told me duh! haha No im just kidding I know because he is full of smiles!!! He love being in his swing and guess what!? When I had to give him his shot today he DIDNT cry!!! Yeah I am so very proud of him. His brother are happy to have him and I back home. I am glad that we get to to be a family for a short time. Konner gets to go to the clinic tomorrow for his check up and to check his ANC levels. Then they will give us our next appointment and the date for his 2nd round of chemo. So far he is doing good with a couple of hours here and there where he gets sick. He is staying strong and is surely still a Tough lil' guy! He is my Lil Rock! The results

Hey everyone,
Konner was Diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. We are unsure what stage it is because we have alot of test to get done within the next days - weeks. The Neuro specialist will come and talk to us tomorrow. We are unable to tell you what the cure rate is until we have the other test done. Konner will need Chemo and he will undergo another surgery to have a cathiter placed in him for the treatment of Chemo. Please Please keep Konner in your prayers. He has a long road ahead of him and please pray that the cancer has not spread to his bones or bone marrow. Thank you Erin.

He's Awake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you hear me!!!! He is awake and is doing great! He's a little puffy but that is to be expected and ready for the great news.......... He is off the ventilator!!!!!! He is our little champ! He still has alot of discharge but he will be able to clear it soon. Also we should have the results sometime soon. Here is a picture of our lil guy off of the breathing tube!!

Day 3......

( Post Surgery day 3)

So its day 3 for our little guy. He is doing good so far this morning. We should be getting the lab results back sometime soon. They are trying to wien him from his ventilator today. He started out with 24 b/pm and is now set and 20 b/pm. He is doing most of the breathing on his own but the ventillator does help at times. We are taking things slowly but they do want him off the ventilator by tonight. So we'll see how things go. Konner is down to 2 IV's from the 4 he had. One of his Artery lines are gone so that is great! He is also off most of the meds that they were giving him. He is on 1 pain med and on a normal drip. We hope to start feeding him tomorrow. They just want his stomach empty for when they take the ventilator out. He is doing good. And your prayers are working. Please Continue with them as we have a long road ahead of us. Thank you all.

Konners 2nd MRI Results............

His 2nd MRI results just came back. And im happy to say that Konner's tumor that was on and in his spinal cord is gone! You can see the empty space where it was and I cant believe he had something that big on his spine. Now our next step is to wait for the biopsy results to see what kind of tumor it is and how to proceed with treatment.
Our "lil Tough Guy" has had an eventful day. He has had some trouble breathing on his own but all the Dr's say that is expected after a major surgery. His ventilator is set back at 16 like it was earlier this morning so he wont have to work so hard to breath. For the most part of the day it was at 12 and he would do great at times but then he would drop down to 12 which basically means he wasn't breathing on his own and just got a little lazy. He had some trouble with his body temperature but we were able to get that back up. And his blood pressure is back to normal as well. Konner's is doing great right now and all I can ask of him is to stay strong and to just get better.
I love this lil guy like crazy and im so very thankful that he is mine. I cant wait to see his beautiful eyes and that cute adorable lil smile again.
