Darn little fights

So it has been awhile since I have updated you on whats going on with the Dowdy's. Really not much has happened lately. Kyesun and Kayben have been getting into little scuffs here and there but nothing too big. One day Kyesun wouldnt let Kayben in the room so Kayben got mad. Kayben has a BIG attitude and when he gets mad he lets you know it. Well kayben ran as fast as he could with his arms straight out and hit Kyesun right in the gut and knocked him over. Kyesun got upset and tackled him. well Kayben just got right up and started laughing, Kyesun joined right in. Well kayben decided to make a game out of it and keep pushing Kyesun which led to pinching and then gauging kyesuns eye!!! Thats right kyesun just cried and was like my eye hurts so I looked and thought he had a piece of fuzz in his eye. Boy was I wrong It was a flap of kyesuns skin in the center of the eye hanging down. EEWWW is right I took him straight to the dr where they did a black light test and sent me straight to the E.R... Once there they did another Black light test where they get this glow in the dr solution and put it in your eye to see how deep and how big the cut is. Well kyesuns was a level 2 and they put some more eye drops in his eye and then some ointment. They made him wear an eye patch like a pirate and sent him home with some ointment he had to put in his eye 2 times a day! So yeah That is the big story and what has gone on with us. lol His eye is back to normal and all is well. They still are up to their little fights but I guess boys will be boys.

Indianaplois & Chicago

So I got a chance to go and visit Kyle before he left. We stayed in IND for a couple of days and then headed to Chicago! It was AMAZING and I had a wonderful time with him. We had a great time together and were able to go to a cubs game and spent a whole day down at Navy Pier! We went to the top of sears tower and that was really fun and I took some amazing pictures. below are some pictures from my trip. Graduation pictures

So I have finally figured out how to upload some pictures without it freezing on me. lol Here is my boy Kyesun on his graduation day. He was sooo excited and kinda had the jitters. He was nervous and didnt even want to eat breakfast. :) Before we left the house he asked if he could wear his dads watch so it could be like his dad was there with him. I said no because the watch is huge. lol But he then asked if he could wear one of his dads army pins. It made me cry, Im a nerd I know. but it was such a sweet thing to hear come out of his mouth. And for that whole day he felt so special because everyone asked what he was wearing! He misses his dad tremendously and not a day goes by that he doesnt ask for him or that I dont catch him praying for him. My sweet boy is getting so big and is going into first grade. Looking at this picture make everything just flash before my eyes. So Kyesun please dont grow up too fast, buddy!

Kindergarten Graduation

OK lets just say my baby boy is not a baby anymore! He has officially graduated from kindergarten. They had a wonderful program set up and gave the kids graduation trophies and certificates along with their tassels! He did an amazing job. It was the cutest thing ever. While they called their names to get their diplomas they each got to say in the mic what they wanted to be when they grow up. so they call "Kyesun Dowdy" and he says"I want to be a BEAR HUNTER when I grow up" HILARIOUS! He is dead serious too. haha well here are some pictures from his big day.



Kyesun I am so proud of you for doing such a great job! You were the principals VIP and did an amazing job at that. Have an amazing summer and you will soon be a first grader!!!
